Acupuncture & TCM Services

We are very pleased to offer Acupuncture & Chinese medicine
as part of our clinics therapies

Acupuncture can be used to support musculoskeletal problems such as pain, injury recovery, muscle tension, headaches, and restricted movement. It can also be used more broadly as part of a Traditional Chinese Medicine approach to underlying health concerns that may be affecting how the body functions and recovers.

Rather than only treating the obvious symptom, TCM acupuncture looks at the wider patterns behind a person’s presentation. This may include sleep, digestion, stress, energy levels, circulation, hormonal patterns, immune resilience, lifestyle, and longer-term health history. By looking at the whole person, treatment can be tailored to address both the immediate complaint and the deeper factors that may be contributing to it.

This broader approach is one of the reasons acupuncture has remained an important part of Chinese medicine for thousands of years. It is not simply a technique for sore muscles or local pain relief, but a complete therapeutic system used to support health, recovery, and regulation across the body.

If it’s your first time trying acupuncture and you’re wondering if there’s anything you need to do to prepare for the session, here are a few tips that can help you out:

  • Wear loose fitting clothing that you are comfortable in

  • Eat & drink something before the treatment, don't have acupuncture on an empty stomach.

  • Avoid caffeine before your appointment

  • Use the restroom before your session so that you can get the most out of the time and be fully relaxed
